The 280 Bus service from Oxford to Aylesbury via Thame stops in the village, and Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station is a 6 mile drive. The village is surrounded by pretty farm land, with many footpaths and bridleways, including the Oxfordshire Way footpath, passing through the village. Waterstock and The Oxfordshire golf courses are within three 3 miles. There is a thriving village cricket club, village hall, church at Albury and the Village Pub, the Fox & Goat does great food.

 

Nearby Thame

Thame is a busy and active market town on Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders with a historic market place at its centre where market traders come to set out their stalls each week. There are a range of high quality independent shops including butchers, bakers and cafes. There are banks and boutiques as well as a Waitrose supermarket and the usual chain stores

Other essentials include primary, secondary schools and a sports centre. There are a wide range of pubs and restaurants appealing to all tastes.
