Property Description

Located on the London Road in Wheatley with great access to local facilities including shops and public transport, this 1930's detached bungalow has been extended to the rear and now provides flexible accommodation which includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a good sized kitchen.

Just redecorated and fitted with new carpets though still in need of a little updating, this would be a great project for an enthusiastic DIY live-in renovation. There is even plenty of scope for extension, loft conversion or further development generally (subject to the usual permissions, of course).

The property is set back from the road which provides ample space for off-street parking on the graveled driveway for several vehicles. Pedestrian access down the side of the property leads to the enclosed rear garden which is mainly laid to lawn with hedges to the boundaries.

Location

Wheatley is a thriving village community just seven miles to the south east of Oxford. It has retained an excellent range of shops and facilities making it a genuinely working village. Families are well catered for with nurseries as well as primary and secondary schools. There is a sports centre in neighbouring Holton and shops include convenience stores, butchers, bakery, coffee shop, post-office/gift shop, pharmacy and antique shop. There is also a doctors surgery, dentist, hairdressers and complimentary therapy clinic too.

The public transport links are excellent with 280 and U1 bus services providing regular access to Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury and with junction 8 of the M40 just a 10 minute drive away, Wheatley is very well positioned for those needing to drive to London, Birmingham or beyond.

Fee Information

The advertised rental figure does not include fees.

We had two estate agents selling it, Wheatley estate agents were leagues ahead with every aspect of the sale, from how they showed clients round, to how dad was treated through every step of the sale.
KW
As a local estate agent the personal touch spoke volumes compared to the cold, uncaring attitude we experienced from the larger High street chain. David went the extra mile and I thank you very much.
KW
Through the whole process David, Julie and Sue were always there at the end of the phone, they gave us regular updates, chased solicitors constantly on our behalf until the sale was completed. It is one of the most stressful things in life, but if you have a team behind you like this then it really does help and they really do bend over backwards for their clients and have your best interest at heart.

David and his team were extremely helpful and professional throughout the sale of our property. Even when our sale collapsed they were back on the case and we sold again within one day! Would recommend them to anyone.
MJ
We had a great experience buying a house marketed through Wheatley estates. David was endlessly helpful through what proved to be quite a complicated purchase.
