The impressive entrance opens into the double height entrance hall with feature oak staircase. Once inside, the quality and extent of the refurbishment becomes apparent with double oak doors leading into the large sitting room with contemporary 'living flame' gas fire set in a stone fireplace giving a focus to the room. From here the bi-fold doors lead out to the breakfast/family room with two sets of bi-fold doors opening onto the garden.
The kitchen, with its island unit overlooking the breakfast room, comes from the German manufacturer Nolte and has two ovens set in a bank of appliances to include the matching microwave and coffee maker as well as an induction hob is set into the worktop opposite. A separate utility room leads off the kitchen with space for a fridge/freezer and washing machine, keeping the kitchen clutter free.
A door opens from the kitchen back into the hall, off which you will find the formal dining room and WC.
On the first floor the large windows flood the landing with light and provide impressive views over open grazing land. Doors lead off to the four bedrooms and family shower-room.
The master bedroom is at the rear of the property with double glazed doors that open onto a small balcony to enjoy views across the valley towards Cuddesdon and Garsington. The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious feel with large shower cubicle as well as a deep bath positioned with a view of the TV set into the wall so that you can 'enjoy the Soaps while you are in the Suds!'.
Overall, it is a thoughtful renovation with some individual and stylish touches and yet there is still potential for a buyer to put their own mark on the property with further extension (planning has been granted) if required.
