Property Description
The front door leads to a small porch and on into the main sitting room with the warmth of an oak floor, a wealth of stripped beams and stone walls along with a log burner in the fireplace, great for those cosy nights in. From here a door opens into the kitchen/breakfast room with a flagstone floor, stone walls and a lovely oak fitted kitchen with a 'belfast' sink overlooking the courtyard garden. The kitchen leads on to a later extension to the property where there is another reception room (with bi-fold doors opening onto the garden), WC, ground floor bedroom (with en-suite bathroom), first floor bedroom and study. This extension has huge potential for buyers that need an annex as this end of the house lends itself well to this purpose giving an extended family the scope for a separate sitting room and bedrooms - great for elderly parents or a child needing a little 'room to grow'.
Back into the older part of the house there is a staircase that leads to the original two bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor, its almost like two houses in one!
Outside there is a small garden to the front and off-street parking for two cars.

Littleworth
The small village of Littleworth to the south east of Oxford, sits on the edge of Shotover Country Park and right alongside the larger village of Wheatley. The village itself has a mixture of property styles with old cottages next to houses from the 50’s and 60’s along the main road through the village. The more recent development of Coopers Close was added in 1999 on the site of an old tannery. The village has its own pub, The Cricketers, and a small commercial site, home to car repair garages and a local building firm.
Neighbouring Wheatley
Wheatley is a thriving village community just seven miles to the south east of Oxford. It has retained an excellent range of shops and facilities making it a genuinely working village. Families are well catered for with nurseries as well as primary and secondary schools. There is a sports centre in neighbouring Holton and shops include convenience stores, butchers, bakery, coffee shop, post-office/gift shop, pharmacy and antique shop. There is also a doctors surgery, dentist, hairdressers and complimentary therapy clinic too.
The public transport links are excellent with 280 and U1 bus services providing regular access to Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury and with junction 8 of the M40 just a 10 minute drive away, Wheatley is very well positioned for those needing to drive to London, Birmingham or beyond
Cylcing
With the recent upsurge in cycling it is worth noting that this is a great place to commute to Headington and Oxford by bicycle using the cycle lane that runs safely alongside the A40. If you are travelling to BMW MINI plant, there is also a cycle path between Horspath and the Oxford Ring Road. In addition, the village is a great place from which to discover the countryside around us by bike.
